Today is Mothers Day and my mom and I just got back from the Pittsburgh Breast Cancer Walk with some of you. What a wonderfully moving experience it was! Watching thousands walking in support of funding for research and seeing the signs of survivors with their numerous years of recovery made me feel so optimistic of all of the work that is being done in this field. I felt so very honored to be walking in support of Terry and her family. Thank you to the organizers of this great day. It was one to remember!

Hi Terry,

You are probably wondering who I am and how I got to your site. My name is Jennifer. My husband works for Mike Scott and Kim and I were talking last night when she mentioned you. I am a 13 year breast cancer survivor. I was just 27 when I was diagnosed and understand perfectly what you must be going through right now. I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that there are brighter days ahead. Breast cancer was the worst experience I have ever had but also helped me become the person I am today. It seems weird that something so awful can have hidden blessings associated with it. I hope the day comes when you can find something good surrounding this bad experience. Take care and find strength in your friends. They obviously love you very much. Jen

Hi fighter, it is time to remember this:

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ~Winston Churchill

If you're going through hell, keep going. ~Winston Churchill

Never, never, never give up.~Winston Churchill

Here is one from Voltaire:

Life is a shipwreck but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. ~Voltaire

Hey Girl,
I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I think of you often. You have got to be the toughest person I know and you are going to have all this behind you before you know it. You know our mission in life is to find Donna so you have to be at your best to help me do that. hehe We are keeping you in prayer and please remember that you will always be like a sister to me. Please let me know if I can do anything from here in WV. I love you and you hang in there!!!! Love Thrayron

Hey you!!!

Two less to go!. Now you are going UP!! You won the second round! Next weekend you will be running around again, getting your pedicure done and shopping galore. C'mon 5 more days of being lazy and then normal life as the doctor said.

Last Sunday at church a family stood up and said thank you for 6 years of chemo free after breast cancer. Sooner that what you think this war is going to be history.

Shelly Huss said she is coming with us to Barcelona.
